Description
SUITABLE:
Geologists and/or technicians dealing with geological well-site control and/or supervision. Recommended also for engineering design department exploration or reservoir geologists working with documents coming from final well geological reports.
OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course, delegates will:
- Be able to define drilling operations;
- Be able to analyse surface parameters;
- Be able to detect risks in drilling (abnormal pressure, gas, etc.)
- Be able to carry out a geological report, etc

- Well site formation evaluation from cuttings, cores & hydrocarbon shows
- Downhole measurement while drilling (MWD and FEWD)
- Workshop: analysis of mud logging charts, check well reports, carry out a section of geological log
