SUMMARY:
- Introduction: assessment of need for waterflooding
- Rock and fluid parameters: Review of petrophysical properties, capillary mechanism, concept of relative permeability, rock wettability, fluids mobility and mobility ration concept
- Evaluation of waterflood performance: empirical “statistical approach” methods, evaluation of oil recovery based on sweep coefficients, microscopic sweep efficiency, etc.
- Waterflooding
