OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course, delegates will:
- Be able to list the main sedimentological characteristics of carbonate rocks;
- Be able to define typical carbonate geometries;
- Know how to correlate on logs carbonate reservoir, using sequence stratigraphy methodology;
- Know how to relate facies, diagenesis and reservoir properties
- Be able to relate phenomena observed on outcrops to typical carbonate reservoir problems
