Description
SUITABLE:
Engineers and technicians not directly involved in day-to-day reservoir engineering
OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course, delegates will:
- Have an understanding of main reservoir engineering concepts used in hydrocarbon development projects;
- Be able to involve in field development and field monitoring to communication with reservoir engineers in multidisciplinary teams.
SUMMARY:
- Basics of reservoir characterization: production geology, rock properties, reservoir fluid properties, volumetric evaluation of oil and gas in place, exercises
- Field Development: well test interpretation, multiphase flow, drainage mechanism, basics of reservoir simulation, exercises
- Case study (application to an oil field exploitation and evaluation: recovery and drainage mechanism evaluation, reserves estimation, development schedule, etc.)
